The lasers

The principle medical lasers:

The principle lasers utilized in medicine for epilation have the length of beam comprised in a visible light and infra red, from 500nm to 1100nm.

- Il s'agit de l'Alexandrite (755nm), la Diode (800nm, le Nd Yag (1064nm).

The principle lasers utilized for vascular lesions (couperose, erythrose, rosacea, variscocities, angiomes…) have length of beam comprised in the visible light from 400 to 600nm.

-They act from the laser colouring pulse (595nm), the Nd Yag laser (1064nm), From the laser Nd Yag doubled in frequency or KTP (532nm)

The principle lasers utilized for the treatment of wrinkles, stretchmarks, scars, have length of beams comprised in the infrared of 1000 to more than 10 000nm.

- It acts from the CO2 laser (10 6000nm), The Erbium laser (2140 nm),Or a combination of the two.

The principle lasers utilized for the treatment of brown marks, from the naevus d’Ota, from detatooing have a process QSwitché which permits to fragment the plaque of melanin or of the ink from tattoos.

- It acts from the laser Nd Yag QSwitché 1064nm, From the Alexandrite QSwitché 755nm, And of the laser Rubis QSwitché (little utilized because of pigment scarring).

The lamp flash produces an intense light of high energy, polychromatic which can be filtered to only carry to the target the selected length of beam. The repetition of the pulse permits to increase the level of energy to the level of the target whilst sparing the neighbouring tissue: it is the Intense Pulsed Light. It acts on the hair and is perfectly appropriate in photorejuvenation.

The radiofrequency is to-day associated in certain machines to the Intense Pulsed Light to reinforce the impact of the intense light on the hair.
The utilization of the lasers are made according to the type of skin, of the colour and dimension of the hair as well as the zone concerned.
It is also utilised in photorejuvenation.
