Wrinkles

Wrinkles are the manifestation of skin ageing and preferentially appear on the zones exposed to external and internal aggressions: repeated assaults from the wind, the sun, the cold, pollution, tiredness, hormonal imbalances, muscular contractions linked to the movements of the face, and to miming.

The treatment is generally done once, sometimes more according to the condition of the skin.

The doctor’s opinion:

The structure of the skin comprises a living and deep portion, the dermis which thanks to the collagen fibres they contain, gives the skin its resistance and suppleness and its density and due to the hyaluronic acid, a fundamental substance in which the collagen and elastin fibres bathe, they bring hydration, elasticity, tonicity and smoothness.

With time the constituents of the derma become rarer, the dermis becomes less resistant, less toned and less elastic. The skin becomes more delicate, duller, less hydrated and less supple.

It marks more easily on the more vulnerable lines, becoming slacker, sagging and wrinkled.
Winkles appear first on the forehead, at the corner of the eyes and around the lips. The wrinkles are then accentuated in deeper furrows, and progressively stretch to the rest of the face.

Creams and other ant-ageing products act on the superficial layers of the skin. To obtain a skin correction, it is necessary to intervene at the level of the dermis, to reconstruct it, restructure its constituents, to return its’ resistance, its tone and elasticity.

A treatment can to-day be adapted according to the state of the skin, the depth, the surface and the localisation of the wrinkles as well as the associated signs.

The indications of the re-smoothing laser must be asked in the presence of:
- The permanent dermic wrinkles,
- Diffused wrinkles,
- Multiple wrinkles,
- A skin quadrillage,
- The surrounds of the eyes, the upper lip, the surrounds of the mouth, the region of the head, the cheeks.

In certain cases, a re-smoothing of the entire face can be proposed.

The CO2 lasers have for 20 years shown their usefulness with warts, the condylomes, smoothing benign lesions, and for 10 years have been used in the domain of aesthetic re-smoothing.

The CO2 lasers combined with the Erbium in the same apparatus (DermaK) have appeared for 4 years and allow the carrying out of the re-smoothing of the face with less constraints than with CO2 alone.
They permit, with the scanning of the treated zone, the abrasion of imperfect skin , acne scars, of chickenpox or of trauma.
They permit the surface signs of skin ageing by a precise smoothing of wrinkles and lines permitting the renewing of the epidermis or dermis, the boosting the manufacture of natural collagen and returning tension and lasting rejuvenation to the skin.

A preparation of the skin, 15 days before the laser will be adapted to each patient.

Some red blotches of a variable duration according to the affected zone, and the desired result, will be camouflaged by makeup from the 7th day at the time of the healing.

The re-smoothing removing laser with a correctly informed patient is an act which permits control of the therapeutic action and the results can be spectacular.

In case of moderate signs, beginning signs of ageing (lines, dilated pores, rough aspects of the skin, marks), another therapy is proposed: photorejuvenating .
